Resistance Is Low – Painting You

Tuesday, November 1st, 2016

From the Gospel According to who

Resistance Is Low

The truth is to be found

turn this handle

Discover my youth

don’t mess this up

now I am starting to work

succeeding at the art of success

She makes my resistance low

but I love her so

the direction of the arrow

the one I flung

nobody will believe

what it has done

my mind is free

and my heart will follow

She makes my resistance low

but I love her so

Unclear – Painting You

Sunday, October 30th, 2016

First recorded in 1994 for the short Film  ‘The Time it take to Light a Cigarette’

Pretty things wishful thoughts

I inhale it to forget it all

Un Un Unclear

little bits, eat more

make noise, turn back

Un Un Unclear clear clear

The connection is depressed

throw it in the fire

Un un unclear clear clear

everything is not everything is not

everything everything everything

Un un unclear clear clear

Midnight Star

Tuesday, September 27th, 2016

From the album ‘The Gospel according to Who‘ and ‘Night Sessions

Midnight Star

To know is not to ask

unless you are totally made of glass

Keep Turning, in the Sky

Midnight Star alright

The feast in the daylight it is achieving

the lives that we live there so deceiving

Keep Turning, in the Sky

Midnight Star alright

Keep Turning, in the Sky

Midnight Star alright

Your so high, your so high, I don’t know

I am so low, I am so low I don’t know

I am so low, I am so low God knows

got to go, got to go, got to go

Keep Turning, in the Sky

Midnight Star alright

Sign Says

Sunday, September 25th, 2016

From ‘The Gospel according to Who

Can’t live up to it

can’t change it

can’t enjoy it

oh no

The sign says I am alive

but my hands are tied

I’ve got to decide how to survive

Be strong

there ain’t nothing wrong

You know this song

oh yeah

Sooner or later

we become what we see

Sooner or later

Eventually

Want to change it

go headlong

Leave suffering and pain

Far behind

The sign says I am alive

but my hands are tied

I’ve got to decide how to survive

misanthropy

misanthropy

misanthropy

If I Get It Wrong

Sunday, January 24th, 2016

If I Get It Wrong from the album ‘Gospel According to Who’ released 1996

I need high speed train

to take me away from this plain

I need an alligator to go insane

When I am standing on the moon

I need a big silver spoon

and I picture of Micheal Cain

With a field full of sugar cane

If I get it

If I get It

wrong

My sunglasses looked good beneath this cape

My mind is disfigured and out of shape

My friends can not wait

To pieces of chocolate cake

This song is totally fake

I need a bullet hole

for goodness sake

An Irish funeral An Irish wake

If I get it

If I get It

wrong

I got a million books full of word

Five friends that brake the law

My head is full of war

Not enough visions of love for sure

My baby standing selling gore

To top hats and suits galore

Got a garden full of weed

and book with no creed

If I get it

If I get It

wrong
